Nutritional Management Associates LLC specializes in Nutritional Management for infants, children, and adults with developmental disability and swallowing and feeding disorders. We provide comprehensive administrative and management consulting for dysphagia services to individuals and to group populations in Schools, Group Homes and agencies that provide Early Intervention, Education for Children with Special Needs, Day Treatment, and Residential Care.  Our mission is to improve dysphagia services and daily care.

We provide:

  • Assessment and assessment systems including The Dysphagia Disorders Survey, The Dysphagia Management Staging Scale, Choking Risk Assessment, Pneumonia Risk Assessment, and The Comprehensive Team Evaluation for Dysphagia;
     
  • Management and management systems for dysphagia and related behavioral, developmental, oral and pharyngeal motor disorders affecting swallowing for eating, oral medications, and saliva;
     
  • Professional and family education, in-service training and continuing education workshops;
     
  • Forensic consulting for health and safety associated with nutritional management and dysphagia, and The Civil Rights for Institutional Persons Act (CRIPA).
     
  • Public and private school consulting including regularly scheduled dysphagia clinics, evaluations and consultations for individual students, staff support for classroom and related services and in-service training
     
  • Residential and day programs for adults and children consulting including regularly scheduled dysphagia clinics, management systems, consultation for allied health, residential and administrative staff and in-service training
